What would you solve?

the machines are built. now comes the hard part.

Keelambi builds electric machines for the farms of Malnad — machines that spray, haul, weed and harvest where working hands are hardest to find. We don't hire for titles. We look for people who see possibilities.

Why Keelambi exists

Read this before you apply.

it saves everyone's time.

If it doesn't make the farm more profitable, it's decoration.

The test every Keelambi project has to pass.

  1. 01The problem

    Short of hands, not skill.

Not land. Not crops. Not skill. Workers don't turn up in the weeks that decide a season. One missed spray takes 30–40% of an areca crop.

  2. 02The belief

If it doesn't pay, it doesn't ship.

A farmer shouldn't need a manual, a subscription and a helpline to get through Tuesday. We build for the farm's economics first and the spec sheet second.

  3. 03The mission

    Profitable. Predictable.

Machines a family can operate themselves, on the crop's calendar rather than the labour market's. Electric, so the running cost is honest.

  4. 04The ambition

    Fixing the next broken thing.

Rancher SEV 5.1 sprays, hauls, weeds and mows. Rancher Doti harvests 50–80 ft palms from the ground. Built in Shivamogga, priced to pay for themselves. The line keeps going.

  5. 05The people

The machines were the easy part.

The first phone call. The on-farm demo. The dealer floor. The next product decision. Reach is harder, and it is done by people. That is why this page exists.

Mission Profitable Farming.

the farmer is the point.

How we think

Four rules from the workshop wall.

Agriculture needs better questions.

not just better answers.

Build something.

then take it to the field.

Make it work.

beautiful isn't enough.

Think big.

start where the farmer is.

You may belong here if

No degree required for any of this.

  • Self-directed

Don't wait for instructions. Ask better questions, see broken processes, and start redesigning them in your head.

  • Fluent in reality

Talk to a farmer and an engineer in the exact same afternoon. Turn everyday conversations into clear opportunities.

  • Relentlessly pragmatic

Care intensely about whether the idea actually works on the farm — not just how it looks on a spec sheet.

  • Outcome-obsessed

Wear five hats in a single week without being asked twice. Measure your entire worth in outcomes.

If that list reads like a warning, this is not your place — and that is a useful thing to know early. If it reads like permission, keep going.

Open roles

Four doors. Not four boxes.

4 roles · Sales, dealer network, customer connect, product

01 Sales · Agricultural products & equipment B2B Sales Take the machine from product to market.

The work

Own business-to-business sales for Keelambi's agricultural products and equipment. Run demos where they matter — on the farm. Build relationships with estates and institutional buyers, and carry a deal from the first conversation to a delivered machine.

The Rancher's case is economic: payback, savings, uptime. Your job is to make that case in person, with the machine running.

What you'll learn

How ROI-led equipment sales actually close in Indian agriculture — the farm demo, the payback conversation, the long decision, the delivered machine. Few people in the country know this end to end.

Who succeeds here

You sell equipment with numbers, not noise. You are at home in the field, patient with long decisions, and precise about follow-through.

02 Sales · Executive / Manager · Agricultural equipment Dealer Sales Build the network that brings the machine closer to the farmer.

The work

Recruit, onboard and support dealers for Keelambi's agricultural equipment. Help them demo, quote and close. Be the working link between Shivamogga and the dealer floor — so a farmer never has to travel far to see the machine.

What you'll learn

How a dealer network is built from zero — territory by territory, from first handshake to a floor that sells without you standing on it. This is distribution as a craft, learned by doing it.

Who succeeds here

You know how equipment actually moves in the districts, and you build dealer relationships that survive well past the first deal.

03 Customer connect Telecaller Be the first voice a farmer hears from Keelambi.

The work

Every enquiry — from the website, the savings calculator, WhatsApp — reaches a person first. That person is you. Understand what the caller needs, answer with facts, book the demo, and route it to the right people without letting anything drop.

What you'll learn

Every farmer problem in the book, first-hand, by phone. Within months, nobody in the company will know the customer better than you — and the company will know it.

Who succeeds here

You listen before you speak. You are patient on the phone, organised with follow-ups, and comfortable talking to farmers about their work.

04 Product · Agricultural equipment · Shimoga / Bangalore Product Manager Shape the machines around real farm use.

The work

Own what Keelambi builds next in agricultural equipment — from attachments to whole configurations. Spend real time on areca and coffee farms. Turn what farmers actually do into what the product becomes.

What you'll learn

How a physical product line gets decided — field evidence, unit economics, what ships and what waits. Product management with mud on it.

Who succeeds here

You think in use cases, not spec sheets — and you verify both on real farms. You can hold the farmer's economics and the engineer's constraints in the same head.

Why we get up in the morning

Agriculture doesn't need another company watching from the sidelines.

It needs people willing to get their hands dirty, think differently and build. Keelambi is that attempt — a machine company in Shivamogga betting that farming's hardest problems are solvable, and worth solving well.

if that sounds like you — let's talk.
